Visitor Visa for Volunteering
Requirements Description
Application form Please complete an online application form(https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/). Print out the barcoded form and sign it.
Two color passport-size (45 mm in height and 35 mm in width) photos taken within the last six months Photos must have a white background.
Passport (original and photocopy) Passports must be valid for at least six months and have blank pages.
Approval letter from the central competent authority E.g., an approval letter issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare or the Ministry of Education.
Other documents as requested E.g., airplane ticket, digital airplane ticket, or documentation from a travel agency.

 

Procedures：

  1. Applicants should submit the required documents and fee to an overseas mission of Taiwan (ROC).
  2. If necessary, the overseas mission may request an interview.

Notices：

  1. The issuance of visas is a sovereign power of the state. The government of Taiwan (ROC) has the right to refuse to grant a visa without explanation. The visa application fee is nonrefundable, even if a visa is not granted.
