New Practice of ROC Visa Application for Foreign Visitors

To enhance the efficiency of processing visa applications, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is going to revise its visa application form and procedures. In the future, visa applicants need first to access the website: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw , fill out the visa application forms online and print them out. The completed forms and other required documents ought to be submitted to MOFA or ROC’s overseas missions. This practice will be effective as of March 1, 2012, on a trial basis. During the trial period, the application forms filled out either online or offline will be acceptable. The formal enforcement date will be publicized before the trial period concludes.
